Another Letter From A Faithful Christian Female Listening In

Grace and peace,  I just wanted to thank you for your marriage series, I've been listening to everyone of them. Several years ago I had a marriage ministry for women who were standing for their marriages and learning how to be godly wives to their husbands, a lot of the things you are teaching I have taught to other women, I guess that's why I don't have my marriage ministry anymore, they became feminist and pretty much gave up on there marriage that God told them to stand for. The last women's conference I went to the speaker was teaching on marriage, I couldn't believe that I was the only one saying Amen'' the woman were turning there nose and pretty much ignoring the speaker. Pastor Coleman please continue to teach what thou says the Lord on Marriage, you are doing nothing wrong, people are listening' those who want to learn and listen and know the truth. I even learned some things myself as a Hispanic woman married to an afro American unsaved spouse. I was almost discouraged until I stumbled across your web-site and found that I was not losing my mind this whole time, hallelujah! My test and biggest challenge is my husband, he is certainly the man that God has been using to help me humble myself and change, I can tell you some stories, but I'll stop here, I just want to encourage you to keep teaching, and God forbid if anything ever happens to you, please pass the piton so that this truth can continue to help others. God bless you and all the men and women that have supported you all these years.  A Sister In Christ. . .

A Letter From The UK Below  10-08-08

Hey PJ  How are you? I hope things are well with you and enjoying life in the Lord.  Just a quick note to say I'm really enjoying the series. Even though the target audience is primarily African -American I can still relate to it. This series transcends nationality although cultural differences do produce different outcomes. This series is so timely as so many marriages are going haywire around me. Close friends of ours just got divorced because the guy wanted to return to the Caribbean and she wouldn't. That was his excuse anyway.  Soon found out he was playing around. And this was while he was part of the worship team at his church.  She's now left to raise  2 boys on her own.  On a personal level, this series has helped me so much. Thank you and may God bless you PJ.  Ron

The Christian Way / By Pastor John E. Coleman

History is being written not only in the nation as a whole but on our hearts.  For the first time in the history of the United States of America we see an African American man seriously nominated to the highest office, as President of the United States.  I have pondered the event with much skepticism and doubt.  The doubt was not to the degree that I do not believe that a black man could ever hold such an office, but that he would be killed before he would ever be able to act in the office itself.

Having grown up in America, the land that I truly love; I’ve witnessed assassinations; racial hatred hangings, burnings and basically reading the history of people; white and black alike I had secured my doubts.  I have altogether given up on politics and politicians in that both only appeal to those that have place their trust in men and their policies.  The last time I voted with any serious intention was in the early nineties when my wife twisted my arm for the sake of my two daughters.  I had totally dropped out of the system.

I am a registered Democrat though I have not voted in that way for years.  I truly believe that the party has fallen into moral decline.  I view myself as a realist.  I call life as I see it.  It is like holding a hand of cards or a hand of bones in ‘Domino’s, you play what you have and trust that the other guy will not block you.  When something is wrong morally, I usually state it as an objective fact.  I’ve watch in horror the party of my parents slowly divorce itself from the moral disciplines that I so cherish in the America that I grew up in.

Must I mention the number of abortions that take place in the black community on a daily basis.  The immoral behavior of our children, the lack of parental obligation on the part of the black male, injustice and civil unrest and racial disparity even among our own company; just to mention a few.  I believe that we must ask ourselves how could this have happened within the last forty to fifty years and at such an enormous rate?  Was it because of a lack of having a “Black President”?  Could all of these things take place in the black community because many of our young men have never seen a black man in the position that Senator Obama now finds himself in?

I cannot forget the many black men in this country in history past that have fought for the rights of other humans, bled on the battle fields so that their children might be safe from harms way.  I cannot help but think of the hundreds of thousands of African American males that rise early in the morning in order to start their day on their knees praying for the guidance of God as they lead their families and assist in the direction of their individual communities.  I have no idea how many an individual in our community are truly Christians because the profession does not meet the criterion of biblical authenticity.  In other words, the profession of most African American Christians in America cannot be sustained because of lifestyles which object Jesus Christ; in attitude and actions unmistakable when weighed by the word of God, the Bible.  Paul the Apostle stated it this way in 2nd Timothy 3:5 “Having a form of Godliness, although they have denied it’s power; avoid such men as these.”

I am truly proud that a man of color could sustain the highest office in the land.  I have always believed that when God created man, that each of us has the capacity to accomplish the dreams of a lifetime.  Black men and women are no different then any other person in the world.  I have been searching for the feeling that I guess many of my fellow Americans have ascribed to; this feeling that “We Can”, you see I’ve always believed that “We Can”.  That is not the question facing our nation.  We are confronted with questions that are ethical ones.  What Constitutes a human marriage?  At what point does human life begin?  How does Change take place in a pluralist society that has been shaken from its traditional roots?  Where is all of this money coming from to fulfill all of the masterful accomplishments that Senator Obama so articulately addressed in his historical speech in Denver Colorado?

Can any of us answer those questions?  Yes we can.  Are we willing to affirm it before we are smacked in the face with the highest tax rate that middle class Americans have ever seen?  Christians are not exempt from the recourse of rhetoric because of their standing with the Lord, we too will be subject to a socialist agenda which promises everything for nothing.  You see my friends; even though I have removed myself from participating in a system that has become a sham; I am still a thinking thing.  There is no way to stop this decline in America unless we deliver a leadership team that has a moral agenda.  As I see it; both parties have forsaken God and the good reason to never compromise themselves for the sake of prosperity.

We as a nation; both black and white have rejected God.  As I watched the final moments of the speech of Senator Obama, I was impressed at the way in which he addressed the many questions Americans wanted to hear answered.  I was made proud that after all of the years of racial injustice, that there was a possibility of a Black / White Man holding the office of the president.  The thought to me is just amazing, it really is.  The imagery of his wife and family took me back years as I think of Lucy my wife, and my two daughters; what a wonderful site that was.  I pray that no one brings hurt to Mr. Obama, for he is my human brother and I love him deeply, he and his family.

But I must say in closing, I would not vote for him.  Not because I do not think that he is qualified for the office, he has guts, the kind that I like to see in men.  The only thing lacking in potential of the next President of the United States is a strong belief in the God of the bible.  You see friends; if he possessed that inner quality; he would make statements which affect not only our America; but others around the world as a true “Pace Setter” as a man that not only fears God first; warranting a just a moral decision in every area of government, he would also gain that same respect from world leaders who realizes that an America without God shall never truly be blessed.  Senator Obama may have concluded his speech with the term; “God Bless America”, but those words denote ambiguity, simply because God does not bless sinners that continue to rebel against His divine ethics which have governed men for generations around the world.

Be careful Christians.  Never get caught up in the fanfare of the crowd.  History has taught us that such behavior only last for the moment.  To my African American (Black) brothers and sisters, relish in the fact that people of color could be recognized as world leaders.  Just read your bibles, these things have been happening for centuries.  Let us focus on the words of scriptures, lest we forget God’s enormous blessings on our behalf.  Pray for Mr. Obama and his family.  If he gains the key to that house; trust me, He will require our prayers.  I do not think I have to quote the text that commands us to pray for those leaders of our country; can you find the scripture and obey the word of God?  I am resolved to obey God and pray from this man, even in the reality of my not agreeing with his policies and principals.  John E. Coleman / Pastor Teacher / Apologist  Sept. 2008

“Nicer Than God”  By Ramie Lynch

Today, I have been thinking about what's wrong with the American Church. One central issue comes to mind. American Christians are nicer than God.

You may be wondering where am I coming from. Well, we (Christians) are quick to extend "grace" to non-believers. We are quick to tell them that Jesus loves them. He wants to bless them. He wants to give them prosperity. We give them the impression that Jesus is some long haired hippie in the sky who loves everybody and does not judge sin. Nothing could be further from the truth.

When Jesus returns, he will be carrying a sword. He will be coming to judge the people, not save them. His first trip was about saving us. He hung on a cross for us. When he comes back, He's saying; "Times up! I gave you sinners time to repent. Now, it's judgment time."

We (Christians) are giving folks "grace" without "wrath." We are telling them the benefits of following Christ. That's all fine and dandy, but I came to Christ because I didn't want to end up in hell. I realized I was a sinner guilty before a righteous God. We need to give folks "wrath." We must scare the "hell" out of them. That's true biblical Christianity. God may love them, but he will send their sinful behinds to hell if they have not repented of their sins and accepted his son Jesus as their savior. Only when this type of preaching is done, we will see a turnaround in the church.

This type of preaching will bring revival. I hate compromising Christians. There is no middle ground with Christ. You can't love the world and then say you love Jesus. You have to tell it like it is whether people want to hear it or not. This is why I constantly harp on issues like abortion and homosexuality. These are sinful practices condemned by the word. So, if you are a "Christian" and condone them or support those that do; in my book, you are a "tare" who will be gathered at harvest time to be burned up.

One more point, I don't believe in altar calls. Nowhere in the Bible do I find Jesus, Paul, or the apostles giving altar calls. They would preach "thus saith the Lord." Afterwards, the people would respond. They would cry out "What must we do to be saved?" I'm not going to beg anybody to be a Christian. Jesus didn't beg. Paul didn't beg. So why are we begging' folks to give their lives to Christ? I've visited churches where they would keep the doors of the church open until somebody came down the aisle. I've even seen cases where they would just ask folks to raise their hands. You've got to be kidding me. Is this what we've come too? Raise your hand to accept Jesus.

The bottom line is that folks are going to end up in hell because they want to be there. They wanted to live life their way instead God's way. They refused to be obedient to God. I honestly believe that many so called "Christians" are going to end up in hell too. They will be crying "Lord, Lord" because they were lukewarm, tolerant, compromising, liberal, worldly, seeker sensitive, purpose driven, or pick your poisonous doctrine.

I won't back down. I won't compromise. I know I sound like a broken record, but the Black community is on its way to hell. Time grows short. I will continue to shout it, until my people repent.

I was asked, did I communicate with people other than my writing group. The answer is Yes. I talk to whoever is willing to listen. Most times, I talk to so called "saved" Black people. They get angry with me. Right now, I have people who refuse to talk to me because I'm against their messiah Barack Obama. They write me off as some "radical, crazy guy."  Most times, I'm dismissed as a "race traitor" who has let the white conservatives tweak my brain with their "God talk." I see the church as the biggest mission field. Our churches are filled with "unbelievers" who think they are saved. Just because you went down an aisle during an altar call does not mean you are saved. You have to walk the walk and talk the talk. You can't be just a hearer of the word. You have to be a doer of the word. That means reading your Bible and obeying what it says. This is what I'm attempting to do. I don't always do a good job at it, but at least I'm making the effort.  Ramie Lynch

Ramie has written before and I am always impressed by his forthrightness and stern stand in the truth of God’s blessed word.  I am pleased to say that he is a very dear friend of mine, and that I stand with him on these issues.  It is rare to find a young man like Ramie who continues to see the church for what she has become.  In a world of so few serious persons ramie shines as a light as well as an example for younger Christians in this country.  Thanks my dear little brother;  Pastor John  8-19-08

Listen To T.D. Jakes

This piece is one of the most important web cast ever placed up on this site.  My passionate begging is obvious.  We as a people (black people in church)  really need to use our brains when addressing satanic individuals that have high jacked the black church.    Pt.1  Pt.2  Pt.3  Pt.4 Pt.5  If there every was a time to stand tall in the defense of God's blessed word, now is that time.  No longer must we sat and say "amen" to the words of these lying false teachers that have mis represented God to the masses of uneducated church people that seems to have no discernment.  I would like to thank the brother that sent me the TBN clip that this stupid statement was presented on in the wear of 2006 in Australia as a conference.  Call me for the context, and I will present no pretext.  This man does not believe in the teachings of the bible.  He is nothing but a mystic drawing the masses into great delusion.  Stay away from this man and his false teachings.  Pastor John
